Harpist, singer, and composer Liza Wallace brings a new dimension to the harp’s role in contemporary music. Originally from San Francisco, CA, she has traveled around the world to study, teach, and perform, touring in Mexico, Brazil, and Germany. She has performed and recorded with such artists as Sir Elton John and Sylvia McNair and has released two albums of her own music.

Wallace strives to expand the possibilities for this unique instrument in jazz, Latin American, classical, folk and world music. Liza grew up immersed in the vibrant musical culture of the San Francisco Bay Area and now is based in Los Angeles. As a composer and arranger, she draws inspiration from Cuban, Brazilian, Venezuelan, and Mexican music as well as classical and jazz harmony/form.
