Phil T
Phil is a full-time, professional event DJ who specializes in mixing vinyl records. His collection, which he’s built over 15 years of rocking parties, has more than 1,500 releases. Phil was born and raised in East Austin and returned in 2018 after spending a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area where he worked at Vinyl Dreams record store and DJed at Underground SF, Raven Bar, and Showdown. He held a monthly residency at the Red River District nightlife institution, Plush, until it closed in 2020. Phil volunteers with KOOP radio and hosts “Bring Your Own Vinyl” events around town. He was a Fall 2020 resident of Shared Frequencies Radio. Phil also sews clothing and is a bicycle tour leader with Adventure Cycling Association.
