Mackswell has been playing events since his senior year of High School. He has shared bills with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Chromeo, DJ Mustard, RL Grime, Erykah Badu, Mos Def, and The Glitch Mob. As a private events DJ, Mackswell has travelled both stateside and overseas to provide musical entertainment for countless world class weddings and for companies such as the NFL, Uber, RedBull, Google and Spotify.
