Keegan

Keegan had the pleasure of growing up in rural Underwood, Iowa. Without much to do in a sea of cornfields and unrestricted access to the internet, Keegan fell in love with exploring music. Uptempo, danceable, breezy music like two-step, new wave, and indie pop pulled him into his headphones during his adolescence. By the time he was a teen, he was writing, recording, mixing, and mastering tracks himself. At the University of Iowa, he wrote hundreds of songs, furthered his sound design studies, casually DJ’d, and picked up a knack for podcast production. Now out of college and living in Brooklyn, Keegan is exploring his music career and teaching podcast production at the Brooklyn College Community Partnership. Still, he spends his free time exploring new music.
