Jim began DJing professionally in 2016 in Nashville under the name Just Jim. This quickly led to other opportunities such as weekly residencies at several Nashville clubs, a New Year’s Eve set for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, the wedding of Patrick Carney (Black Keys) and Michelle Branch, an afterparty for CeeLo Green, and an afterparty for Jason Aldean. He created a weekly event called Superfly Tuesday, which rapidly grew in popularity. During the pandemic, Jim relocated to Austin, TX, where he has secured residencies at Soho House, Highland Lounge, Long Play Lounge, Pop Champagne Bar, and Ah Sing Den. In addition to being a DJ, Just Jim is a producer/songwriter, and has several projects in the works, including a monthly night-series in Nashville and Austin called NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY
