Isaac
Isaac is a Brooklyn-based composer, producer and DJ with a specialty in creating dynamic mixes that make the dance floor jump up and sing along. He loves crafting transitions and mashups that find commonality in music from across generations, building mixes that help modern-day hip-hop, trap and RNB artists feel right at home alongside timeless oldies, disco, and 80’s hits. From his early days as a pianist with a penchant for blowing up the aux cord among friends, Isaac’s passion for music brought him to pursue a degree in Music Composition at Oberlin Conservatory before landing in his long-time home of NYC. Isaac has performed as a DJ at notable venues such as Elsewhere, Public Records, Three’s Brewing and H0L0, and has become a first call for weddings and private events where clients want a highly-customized experience that brings their favorite music to life. Aside from DJing, Isaac works as Technical Manager for the podcasting team at The New York Times, where he composes original music and manages a vibrant team of engineers to create compelling audio journalism.
