Em

Em is a Brooklynite by way of Philadelphia.  She got her DJ career started early making handmade mixtapes on a boombox at elementary school recess.  From there she eventually became a radio show host in college and most recently, on the infamous freeform radio station, KPISS.fm.  A lover of all fun music, from disco to indie to the avant garde, Em is a touring cellist and has worked in many positions across the music world from tour manager to venue booker.  She currently is on the music programming team for True/False Film Festival and at 6BC Botanical Garden and DJ’s at venues across Brooklyn.  She loves dancing, good food, all genres of music and the magic of two people bringing their intergenerational communities together.
