Dylan Sparkle is an open format DJ, vocalist and multi-hyphenate creative born and raised in New York City. She attended LaGuardia Arts (the “Fame” school) and continued her music education at Berklee College of Music as well as The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where she was formally trained in opera, jazz, R&B and beyond.

Dylan began her DJ career in 2016 under the tutelage of renowned turntablist Rob Swift of turntable supergroup The X-Ecutioners. Honoring the genesis of the art, Dylan first mastered the fundamentals exclusively on vinyl – not a computer in sight, in keeping with the original tradition of deejaying.

Since then Dylan has been playing all across New York City at a variety of venues such as The Good Room, Record Room, Club Cumming, Moxy Hotels and more. Some notable events include those for Housing Works, The New School, Hester Street Fair and The DJ Expo. Dylan specializes in disco, house, funk, soul, pop, hip-hop, R&B and neo-soul. Her primary musical mission is always to create a space for unbridled joy, freedom and expression on the dance floor.
