Declan

Declan is a DJ, musician and producer based in Brooklyn. Born in Chicago and raised in LA, he got into music production and DJing after exposure to the LA beat scene, a seminal underground electronic music movement. That scene’s stylistic eclecticism and lack of regard for genre constraints helped him cultivate an anything goes, “vibe first,” approach to DJing. Today, he runs a multimedia art/music event series in Brooklyn, performs live, and DJs all types of music in all sorts of contexts. As a DJ, he believes that a good DJ set should be transporting, and that accessibility is no enemy of good taste.
