Allyson is a sonic explorer based in Brooklyn whose sets are as unpredictable as they are captivating. Born with a passion for rhythm and melody, Allyson has been immersed in a diverse array of sounds since day one. What started as a hobby of playlist curation quickly turned into a love affair with DJing, allowing her to channel a wild spectrum of genres—from shimmering synth-pop and Italo disco to nostalgic 2000s dance anthems and contemporary pop. Beyond DJing, she also creates her own synth pop music as Shallowhalo.

As one half of the DJ duo We Take Manhattan, Allyson is known for throwing iconic parties across NYC, turning spots like The Standard, The Ace Hotel, Old Flings, and Wiggle Room into unforgettable dance destinations. She’s also brought her energetic sets coast to coast, spreading good vibes and great music wherever she goes. With a reputation for mixing unexpected tracks and surprising crowds with her playful transitions, Allyson thrives on creating moments that linger long after the night ends.
