A rambling quintet comprised of some of the most talented roots and bluegrass players in California, The Jensen Singers are best defined by the phrase they first coined, ‘Cosmic Folk’. Sounds of rhythmic guitars, lap steel and soaring group harmonies move this band seamlessly between the classic artists who defined their sound (Dolly Parton, Hank Williams) and the new up and comers (Fleet Foxes, Kacey Musgraves, Edward Sharpe) who have altered the contemporary landscape of folk music.
